Splitdyboat launched a signature island hopping tour in UNESCO Global Geopark of Hong Kong visiting Bluff Head (400 million years history, the oldest rock region of Hong Kong) & Port Island (Dinosaur Island).

In late 2024, significant dinosaur fossils were discovered on Port Island, marking the first such find in Hong Kong. These fossils, believed to date back to the Cretaceous period (approximately 145 to 66 million years ago), were identified as belonging to a large dinosaur, potentially a Sauropod or an Ornithischian. The discovery was made during a field investigation by experts from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology.

The fossils were found embedded in sedimentary rock and are thought to have been buried under sand and sediment after the dinosaur's death. Initial excavations revealed around 30 rocks containing these fossils, which have since been removed for further study.
