This private experience journey takes you to the Hang Heung Chinese Pastry Culture Museum on the 1st floor of our Yuen Long flagship store (themed "Hong Kong Pastry King - Century-Old Hang Heung"), where you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong Chinese pastries' historical evolution, crafting techniques, and the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage skills.
Then head to the baking workshop to easily make classic Hang Heung Wife Cakes. In just 1 hour, enjoy an immersive hands-on experience of authentic craftsmanship, take home your homemade treats + an exquisite souvenir gift box, and return with cultural warmth.

Course Content

● Original Wife Cakes × 2: Start from oil dough and water dough, guided by Hang Heung factory masters through kneading, filling, and other steps. Bake on-site and take home piping hot results. Crispy layered exterior that flakes off, with clear sweet and smooth filling.
● Pineapple Wife Cakes × 2 (Upgraded Version): Hang Heung's signature pineapple crisp skin Wife Cake variation, handmade crunchy pineapple crust wrapped in classic winter melon filling, baked on-site. Crispy outside, fragrant inside—traditional + innovative burst in one bite!
● Live demonstration and guidance from Hang Heung factory masters to master classic Wife Cake techniques.
● Each participant receives 1 × $50 Hang Heung cash voucher + on-site discounts for other Hang Heung souvenirs.

FAQs about the Bakery Workshop

Minimum Class Requirements

• Minimum 6 participants required. If insufficient enrollment, participants will be notified by email 2 days in advance and may reschedule or request a refund.
• Except for the above case, no refunds or make-up classes once enrolled. Registration closes 2 days before the class.

Bad Weather Arrangement

• If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect, the class will be canceled.
• If such signals are lowered to No. 3 or below or canceled at least 4 hours before class, the class will proceed as normal without further notice.
• In special situations, Hang Heung may adjust arrangements and reserves final decision rights.
