What is Splitdyboat?

Splitdyboat is a tour company designed to make exploring Hong Kong's natural beauty more accessible and affordable for visitors. It is founded by Kate and Hansley, YouTuber based in Hong Kong, dedicated to showcasing the natural beauty of Hong Kong to the World.

The name "Splitdyboat" is a creative combination of "split" and "speedy," reflecting the company's mission to help travellers quickly pair up and share the cost of boat tours.

Why Splitdyboat Founded?

Before Splitdyboat, chartering a speedboat individually was prohibitively expensive, and similarly, joining a tour alone without sharing costs was also costly. As the founder of Splitdyboat, I remember chartering a speedboat with a friend and paying a few thousand HKD just to visit one island destination, which made me realize how important and necessary it is to have a platform that helps people pair up and share expenses, making these incredible experiences more accessible to everyone.

What Splitdyboat Do?

Splitdyboat organizes various adventure tours, including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, island hopping and speedboat excursions, where visitors can discover unique geological formations such as hexagonal volcanic rock columns and sea arches. By serving as a platform, Splitdyboat matches visitors looking to join tours, allowing them to enjoy the stunning world wonder without the financial burden of solo travel. This innovative approach not only enhances the experience but also encourages more people to discover the stunning landscapes and geological wonders of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark.
