1. General Refund Policy

Once the booking is confirmed, a full refund is available for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the departure date. Otherwise, refunds will only be arranged if the tour is canceled due to bad weather or insufficient participants. Promotional and special-offer products are excluded from this refund policy.

Eligible refund amounts will be returned within 7 working days. No refunds will be provided once the tour has officially departed.

2. Rescheduling Policy

Once the order is confirmed, a full refund is not available unless a request is made at least 7 days prior to the departure date. However, customers are entitled to one free rescheduling up to 72 hours before the departure date. Please note that changes to the booking date are not permitted within 24 hours of the tour start time.

3. Cancellation policy

3.1. Weather

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning within 2 hours prior to departure, all boating activities will be cancelled. You may choose to reschedule your trip or request a full refund.

All cancellations due to weather conditions will be announced 1 hour before departure.

3.2. Insufficient participants.

If the minimum number of participants is not met, Splitdyboat will notify you within 24 hours and arrange for either:

●Rescheduling 

●Transfer to another tour

Safety Instructions

All boat operators have legal operating licenses issued by the Marine Department and have purchased third-party liability insurance. However, guests are responsible for their own personal and property safety during personal activities.

Confirmation

We will manually confirm your booking within 24 hours. Please note that confirmation of your order does not guarantee the trip will proceed, as all tours are subject to weather and wave conditions for your safety. If you don't receive a confirmation email, reach out to our customer support in Email or WhatsApp.

In general, we recommend contacting us via Email or WhatsApp immediately after placing your order to avoid any misunderstandings—such as typos in your email address or phone number—and to receive first-hand updates about weather and tour operations.

Children under 13 years old Must be Accompanied by an Adult

Adults are responsible for overseeing the children's participation and ensuring they follow safety guidelines. This requirement not only enhances safety but also fosters family bonding and shared memories. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our environment safe!

Eligibility Criteria and Health Considerations

Not Guarantee to Cross through Sea Arches & Sea Strait

The speedboat cave passing section is not a mandatory part of the four--park 4 sea arches volcano sightseeing tour (which means using a speedboat to sail through the gorge between Po Pin Chau and Hua Shan, as well as other sea caves in the itinerary) Based on the wind direction on the day and the professional judgment of the boat operator, this experience is not guaranteed for every itinerary. Safety is our first priority.

Travel Route Shift

If the customer and the boat operator negotiate to change the location, all changes in the itinerary have nothing to do with Splitdy Boat Company.

Basic Terms and Registration Instructions

Participants must provide correct contact information. After the event registration is confirmed, participants will receive an event confirmation text message via WhatsApp/WeChat. The confirmation text message will be sent based on the contact information provided by the participant, so please pay attention. Please ensure that the phone number provided during registration can receive WhatsApp/WeChat messages.

If you are Unable to Attend the Trip

Once registered, guests cannot cancel, change or refund.

Once the trip has departed, it cannot be canceled or refunded. 

If a group member is unable to attend the event due to personal reasons on the day of departure, they will not be able to request a refund and will only be considered to have given up automatically.

Please be On Time

Customers are requested to arrive at the meeting location on time at the meeting time notified by Whatsapp (usually 15 minutes before departure). Latecomers will not be kept waiting.

If customers fail to arrive at the meeting point on time, they will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their right to board the ship and no refund will be given.

Participants are not allowed to leave the group without permission under any circumstances. 

Splitdyboat reserves the right to refuse participation or discontinue the tour if a participant’s dress is deemed inappropriate or if they do not follow the coach’s instructions. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

About Life Jacket

Participants may request a standard life jacket or buoyancy aid to wear during the activity for safety reasons, but it is not compulsory.

What to Wear

Participants are asked to wear light clothing and bring their own changes of clothing, drinking water, hats, sun protection products, and mosquito repellents. There is a chance that you will get wet due to the waves during the activity. Please wear windproof and waterproof clothing according to your personal needs. Avoid wearing belts that can easily loosen items.

For water sport experience tours such as snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, participants must bring their own swimwear and aqua shoes for safety and comfort during the activities.

All event schedules or contents are subject to change without prior notice. Splitdyboat reserves the right to refuse participation or discontinue the tour if a participant’s dress is deemed inappropriate or if they do not follow the coach’s instructions. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Reservation Notes (If using FPS or Bank Transfer)

(1) If you choose not to pay by credit card, please register the website of Splitdy Boat Company account with the same name as the FPS account name.

(2) After placing the order successfully, please complete the payment within 2 hours, otherwise the system will automatically cancel the order.

(3) Please WhatsApp the payment record to 9229-5167 to notify us. Once confirmed, the pairing process will be carried out immediately. Refund will only be made in the circumstances mentioned in Section C. Splitdy Boat Company reserves the right of final decision.

(3) Splitdy Boat Company will inform you on WhatsApp whether or not the pairing is successful a day before departure, but it may still be notified until the night before departure, depending on the difficulty of pairing process.

(4) Passengers will receive the speed boat owner's phone number, boat license, departure location and time etc by WhatsApp.

(5) Full refund will be made if the pairing fails.

General Reminder

(1) Customers should arrive at the meeting place on time notified by Whatsapp (usually 15 minutes before departure).

(2) The return journey is the same as above, please also arrive at the boarding location 15 minutes before the departure time. If the customer suddenly changes the return location, additional charges may apply.

(3) If there is an unexpected situation on the way to departure, such as failure to land, sudden change of sea situation, the trip will be canceled and refund will be made based on Section C. If the customer and the boat owner negotiate to change the location, Spltidy Boat Company will not be responsible for it.

Disclaimer

(1) Passengers understand that if they fail to arrive at the assembly point on time, they will be deemed to have voluntarily waived their right to board the boat and no refund will be given. 

(2) Passengers acknowledge and agree that Splitdy Boat Company shall not be liable, including but not limited to, for any personal loss, damage and any loss (including physical and economic loss) arising directly and indirectly. In case of any loss, injury, theft or loss during, before and after the trip.

Refund Arrangement

(1) If the Hong Kong Observatory issued a typhoon signal No. 3 or above, red or black rainstorm warning two hours before departure, Splitdy Boat Company will arrange a 

full refund within 3 working days.

(2) If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a typhoon signal No. 3 or above, a red or black rainstorm warning, or encounters extreme weather attention during the journey, the boatman will return to the pier based on the principle of safety. Splitdy Boat Company will refund the customer on average after deducting the fuel cost. 

(3) Splitdy Boat Company reserves the right to make final decisions regarding appointment cancellations.

Safety Instructions

(1) All boat owners collaborate by Splitdy Boat Company have legal operating licenses issued by the Marine Department, and also have bought the third-party liability insurance, but the personal and property safety of personal activities must be borne by the passengers themselves.

(2) Package tours and other activities on the island are risky. Passengers are advised to

pay attention to the tide rise and fall at the Hong Kong Observatory before departure schedule, wind level, temperature, etc., plan ahead and keep safety in mind.

(4) Splitdy Boat Company boat service is not recommended for pregnancy, heart patients, poor health, skin rashes, skin diseases, heart disease,lung disease, hemophilia, epilepsy, fainting when in contact with animals, fainting/vertigo/loss of consciousness symptoms, to animals or those who have a fear of water, or those who are sensitive to fish or immunocompromised engage in any water or high-risk activities.

(5) Passengers should wear light clothing and bring their own changing clothes, drinking water, hats, sun protection products, and mosquito repellent products. Passengers may get wet due to the waves, better wear windproof clothing according to your personal needs. Avoid wearing items that are easy to loosen.
